Research Overview
Two peptides, two literatures
Why both are given orally
Neither peptide is an oral compromise. BPC-157 derives from a protein characterised in gastric juice and is reported to withstand simulated gastric conditions far longer than most peptides of comparable length. KPV is reported to be transported into intestinal epithelium by PepT1, an oligopeptide carrier described as upregulated in inflamed tissue. In both cases the delivery route and the tissue under study coincide.

What the combination does and does not establish
Practical value of a fixed unit
Filling both peptides to a fixed 1:1 content removes ratio variance from a study design entirely, which matters more in multi-arm work than the flexibility of adjusting components independently. Groups that need to vary the ratio should use the single-peptide capsules instead.
