Overview

Pairing it with CJC-1295 without DAC brings a second receptor into the design. That analogue — commonly listed as Modified GRF (1-29) — is a 29-residue GHRH fragment carrying four substitutions that block dipeptidyl peptidase-4 cleavage, and it acts at the GHRH receptor rather than the ghrelin receptor. Because the two receptors sit on the same somatotroph and are regulated differently, co-administration is used to study whether the responses combine additively.

Highlights

  • Co-lyophilized 1:1 blend — 5 mg CJC-1295 (No DAC) and 5 mg GHRP-2 in one sealed vial
  • ≥99% purity by third-party HPLC per component, with a lot-matched certificate of analysis
  • GHRP-2 (pralmorelin) is the more potent second-generation hexapeptide secretagogue
  • Substantially less orexigenic than GHRP-6, making it a cleaner choice for GH-focused endpoints
  • CJC-1295 (No DAC) is a DPP-4-resistant GHRH analogue, also known as Mod GRF (1-29)
  • Sealed vacuum-dried vial shipped from a US facility; no diluent included

Research Overview

GHRP-2 as a refinement of the class

The GHRP series began with GHRP-6, a hexapeptide that released growth hormone through a receptor distinct from the GHRH receptor. GHRP-2 followed, incorporating D-amino acids and a 2-naphthylalanine residue that raise potency and stability. In comparative pharmacology it is generally described as releasing more growth hormone per unit mass than GHRP-6 while producing far less appetite stimulation, which is why it displaced the original in study designs where feeding behaviour would be a confound.

Why the combination is studied

  • GHRP-2 and the GHRH analogue engage separate receptors expressed on the same pituitary cell.
  • GHS-receptor activation suppresses somatostatin tone, which otherwise limits the amplitude of a GHRH response.
  • Animal and pituitary-cell studies report a larger measured growth hormone pulse from the pair than from either compound alone.
  • Both components are short-acting, so the resulting stimulus is pulsatile rather than sustained — relevant in a feedback-regulated axis.

Interpreting the evidence

Handling & Storage

Allow the sealed vial to warm to room temperature before opening so condensation does not settle on the cake. Add bacteriostatic water slowly against the inner glass wall and swirl gently until the solution is clear — do not shake or vortex, as agitation shears peptide chains and produces foam that interferes with accurate withdrawal. The hexapeptide dissolves quickly while the 29-residue analogue may take longer; give it time rather than increasing agitation. Note the concentration of each component separately, since the vial holds a fixed 1:1 mixture. Keep unopened vials at −20 °C protected from light, hold reconstituted solution at 2–8 °C, and label all stocks for laboratory research use only.

CJC-1295 (No DAC) + GHRP-2 FAQ

How does GHRP-2 compare with GHRP-6?
GHRP-2 is the later, more potent hexapeptide of the two and produces substantially less appetite stimulation. GHRP-6 remains preferred where an orexigenic response is the endpoint being studied, while GHRP-2 is chosen when the design calls for growth hormone release with fewer confounding effects.
Is each peptide independently tested?
Yes. Purity is established by HPLC and identity by mass spectrometry for each component at an independent laboratory before the two are co-lyophilized. The certificate of analysis is matched to the lot number printed on your vial and available on request.
What is in the 10 mg (5/5) vial?
Total peptide mass of 10 mg, split evenly — 5 mg of CJC-1295 (No DAC) and 5 mg of GHRP-2, dried together as a single cake. No diluent, syringes or filters are included; bacteriostatic water and reconstitution supplies are listed separately.
Can this blend be used in humans?
No. It is supplied strictly for in-vitro and laboratory animal research by qualified personnel. It is not a drug, supplement or cosmetic in this form, has no approved use as sold, and must not be administered to humans or animals outside an authorised study. We provide no dosing guidance.

This catalog listing is for laboratory research use only. It is not represented as a drug, food, supplement, cosmetic or diagnostic product, and it is not offered for human or veterinary use.
