What is nesfatin-1-like peptide?
NLP is a peptide derived from nucleobindin-1, the paralogue of the nucleobindin-2 precursor that yields nesfatin-1. The corresponding regions of the two proteins are similar in sequence, which is why the peptide carries a nesfatin-1-like designation.
How does NLP differ from nesfatin-1?
