Cannabinoid Receptor Peptides & Antibodies — frequently asked

What is in this product family?
It contains defined peptide fragments of cannabinoid receptors, mainly the human CB2 (323-360) C-terminal region, together with matching antibodies and labeled IgG conjugates. The peptides act as immunogens, blocking peptides and epitope standards rather than as receptor ligands.
Why sell receptor fragments rather than receptors?
Cannabinoid receptors are multi-pass membrane proteins that are difficult to purify intact. Short intracellular or extracellular sequences are far more tractable to synthesise and are what antibodies are typically raised against, which makes them practical validation and control reagents.
Which species are covered?
Listed fragments correspond to human receptor sequences. Cannabinoid receptor sequences differ between species, particularly in the CB2 C-terminal region, so cross-reactivity with rodent or other samples should be established experimentally rather than assumed.
